Joining The Watkins, Inc. Team

My name is Karen Goodale and I am happy to share my
home business with you! I have been with the Watkins
company for 6 years in June 2004, but had used Watkins
products for many years prior to joining the company. My sister and
I would drive 3 hours to the state fair each summer (where
there was always a Watkins booth) to stock up on our favorite
products. I learned in 1998 that I was losing my 3rd
job in 15 years, due to company bankruptcy. Though I knew
I would need another "job" to make ends meet, I also made the
decision to start a home business that I could build part-time
to give me more control over my own future. Since I was
already familiar with Watkins products, and loved them,
Watkins was the first business I looked into, and the one
I chose based of their long company history and reputation for
quality.
J.R. Watkins started his company back in 1868 with just a
single product, his own Red Liniment and the first
money-back guarantee. That guarantee still remains today on all
of our products, along with a reputation for using only the finest
natural ingredients. Watkins now offers over 375 products, and
while we're most famous for our award-winning Vanilla and spices,
today we offer a complete line of gourmet specialty foods, botanical
personal-and home-care products, elegant gift baskets and as well as
our tried and true medicinals. The products can be marketed in
may ways including: catalog sales, home
parties/events (using our Good Tastings plan) flea markets,
craft shows, fairs, fundraising, Internet sales etc.
The starter kits available range in price from $49.95
US for the Business Introduction Package, $99.95 US
for the Good Tastings Starter Kit, $200.00 US for
the Basic Business Starter Kit, and $399.95 US for the
Complete Business Starter Kit. To view the exact contents of each

no monthly/quarterly/yearly purchases
requirements, so joining Watkins with any of the
starter assortments gives associates 25% off all Watkins
products, and the option to be a discount buyer for
your own use, or the opportunity to build a Watkins business.
There is an annual membership renewal of $30 for all
members. For those building a business with Watkins, you
earn 25 - 45% profit when you market the products, and make
approximately 10% profit on your downline network when you sponsor
others into your business. To earn bonus income from a
downline group you are required to have $100 in
personal/customer sales at the associate level, and $200
personal/customer sales at the manager/director levels.
Watkins has everything I wanted in a home
business. The consumable products are items we
all use daily, and I love being able to offer
others the chance to purchase higher quality
products from "themselves" instead of the grocery store
and save 25%, or helping those that want to build their
own business with Watkins. With so many marketing options
available a Watkins business is very flexible, and can be
operated even just a few hours per week (a successful home
party can bring in great sales, and can only take a few hours) but
the time and effort put into the business will ultimately
determine how fast your business will grow. I work in
a CPA office full-time+ during tax season, and 25-30 hours
per week the rest of the year, so the time I am able to spend
on my Watkins business varies between 5-15 hours per
week, but I was able to reach manager level with Watkins
in less than 2 years, and I also earned a free vacation to
Ireland in 2002, and a free vacation to Mexico in 2003!
